Payment & Deposits
Kav Bakes Cakes requires a £5 deposit for cupcakes & a £10 deposit for celebration cakes. This secures your date in the diary only and is non-refundable. The final balance should be received by bank transfer 1 week (7 days) before your collection date. Failure to meet your payment commitments may mean that Kav Bakes Cakes is unable to fulfil your order/hand over your order to you. Orders placed within 1 week of your collection date must be paid in full within 24 hours. Failure to meet this payment commitment will mean your order will not be secured and will not go ahead.

Designs
You have 48 hours after confirming the cake size & design to make any changes FOC. Any changes after this time has elapsed might not be able to be fulfilled by Kav Bakes Cakes. Any changes from the original agreed design are subject to additional charges.

Delivery
Kav Bakes Cakes runs a collection-only policy, but delivery may be an option in some circumstances. Delivery charges will be agreed upon during the quotation stage and require your full delivery address ahead of your delivery date. All tiered cakes will be delivered to an agreed venue to ensure safe transportation.

Collection
Collections from Kav Bakes Cakes take place between 10:30 am - 11:30 am or 5 pm - 6 pm. This is a strict policy and failure to notify of lateness may result in Kav Bakes Cakes being unavailable at the time you arrive. Please notify us as soon as you know you may be running late so an alternative collection time can be arranged.

Damage to cakes
Kav Bakes Cakes holds no responsibility for any damage caused to a cake or cupcakes after it has left the Kav Bakes Cakes premises. Kav Bakes Cakes ensures that a suitable box is provided for any product and advice on how to store and transport your cake is provided before you collect your cake. Failure to adhere to the advice given may result in damage to your cake.

Photography
Kav Bakes Cakes photograph all products made for marketing purposes. We reserve the right to use all photographs for display/promotional purposes. Please advise if you require us to post a picture of your cake after a certain time/date to avoid the recipient seeing the cake before they should.

Allergens
Kav Bakes Cakes use a wide variety of ingredients whilst baking. We do not accept orders for anyone who suffers from intolerances or allergies. It is your responsibility to advise us of any intolerances or allergies at point of ordering. If you're concerned about any ingredients that we may use, please don't hesitate to get in touch and a full list of ingredients can be provided.

Inedible Items
Depending on agreed design, your product may contain inedible decorations such as glitter card toppers, dried/fresh florals or in the case of a tiered cake, wooden dowels. It is your responsibility to ensure all inedible items are removed before consumption.

Pricing
Kav Bakes Cakes quotes are valid for 14 days from point of issuing. A quote does not constitute a booking and your date/order is not secure until a deposit as outlined earlier in these Terms & Conditions has been made and received.

Ordering
Your order will not be confirmed until deposit payment and subsequently full payment is received and confirmed by Kav Bakes Cakes. Payments are accepted by Bank Transfer only, using your invoice number as a reference. Please note paying a deposit but not the full balance will result in your order not going ahead.

Cancellation by Kav Bakes Cakes
In the unlikely event of Kav Bakes Cakes having to cancel your order due to sickness, in line with Food Hygiene Regulations, we aim to give as much notice as possible and refund any monies paid in full for orders that we are unable to fill.

Cancellation by Customers
In the event you need to cancel your cake please give as much notice as possible. Any monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferrable in any case. This is due to the lost earnings that may arise from turning away bookings on your chosen date and any work that has already been completed on your order. Any orders cancelled within 1 week of your collection date will still require full payment.

Date Rearrangements
Should you require to move your original collection date, please give as much notice as possible. If we are unable to accommodate your new chosen date, the cancellation policy outlined above comes in to play.
